CLF Announces No Colorado Select For 2012

The Colorado Lacrosse Foundation (CLF), the Colorado Chapter of US Lacrosse, announced today that it will not be offering Colorado Select Teams for the 2012 calendar year.

"The lacrosse landscape for travel teams in Colorado has changed dramatically in the last few years...”, said CLF President, Amy Lane. “...there are now many more travel opportunities for players. Fielding Colorado Select teams takes a tremendous amount of time and effort and the CLF feels that these volunteer hours could be better spent on other efforts within the lacrosse community.”

The CLF will examine possibilities for re-tooling the Select program to better fit into the summer lacrosse landscape.

The CLF and Colorado Select wish all participants the best of luck in the looming spring lacrosse season.
